In a stunning upset, Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic scored a brace to lead his team to a 2-1 victory over AC Milan, ending the Rossoneri's impressive 25-match unbeaten streak in Serie A. The match, played at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence, saw Fiorentina put in a determined performance to claim a famous win.
Vlahovic opened the scoring for Fiorentina in the 28th minute, receiving a pass from Giacomo Bonaventura and firing a low shot into the bottom corner. Milan responded well and equalized in the 59th minute through Rafael Leao, who tapped in a rebound after Ciprian Tatarusanu had initially saved Franck Kessie's shot.
However, Fiorentina refused to be disheartened and regained the lead just six minutes later. Vlahovic, once again, proved to be the hero, as he headed home a cross from Jose Callejon to make it 2-1. Despite Milan's efforts to find a second equalizer, Fiorentina held on for a well-deserved victory.
